Gday,
If I import a mailing list from my existing database of clients in .csv format, and one of them subscribes at my site, will they receive an error, or will the system duplicate their details or override them?

If the subscriber is already in the database and attempts to signup again to the newsletter, the system will tell the them that s/he has been signed up, but won't actually sign them up again. We believe that is better than shouting out an error.
The system also has the ability to remove duplicates. If you wish to do so after importing a large database, simply go to the subscribers page, and select "remove duplicates" from the dropdown menu for the group you wish to do it to. |
