Somehow the bottom part of my newsletter (BPN1) has disappeared - I was just working on it this morning. Is there a way of retrieiving that part from backup?

Hi,
as the newsletters are just info stored in the database, to have backups and have the backups actually keep up with people's changes, then backups would need to be made every hour. This would consume massive resources and space, and slow the system down. Full site backups are made one a week, but they are only there in case of a majopr catastrophe, and replace the whole database with the backed up copy. So unfortunately, there is no backup of your newsletter from earlier this morning.

Reason is, you're pasting content from Word, which is copying over the word-only formatting, which is damaging the4 newsletter.
If you view the source, you'll see it all, as well as the references to files on your personal computer in there too.

Would you like us to fix it all up for you?

No, but I did just send an laert as Im having trouble inserting a piece of text at the bottom of my first newsletter. Tried it in HTML and in edeit mode and it keeps cutting if off even though I pasted the words into notepad and copieed from there so there should be no strange formatting problems???

ok, I'll take a look at it for you. Make sure you have saved what you have done, and exited the editor.

Hi,
as it says in the queue page:

Please note, if your emails remain in the queue for an extended period, it is likely that the queue is large and they will eventually be sent out.

There are a few thousand ahead of yours.

Hi,
each newsletter has a link that you can use in the list of newsletters. Just click the name and it opens the newsletter up in a new browser window. You can then copy the address of that and send it to whoever you need to.

They can also click the "subscribe to this newsletter" link under the newsletter.
