I am still in trial mode and have created 2 newsletters with which to trial the system.
I can send one to myself, but not the other and it is this 'other' newsletter which I need to assess.
I have made a copy of it which will not deliver either.
Each time I try, it says that it was sent successfully.
Help from support staff please. |

Hi Murray,
We chatted on the phone about this, but for the benefit of other users who might see this, we determined that the failure to receive might be due to your mail server's spam filter. |

Hello,
m2news uses spamassassin to check the spam score, it has about 75 or so checks already in the system and new ones are being added weekly (it's an automated self learning system).
It is possible that you are using a completely different spam filter software, or it might just be much more strictly set-up than an average user's spam filter.
Thank you |

Yes, normally, and spam score of 5 is the default required to be rejected in the Spam Assassin system, yours could be set to lower. |

Thanks for you help. I have worked around the spam issue for the moment.
New Problem 1)
Newsletters arrive on my associates pc missing the custom header (Outlook 07). All good on my Mac, good on Outlook 03 and good when viewed online.
I can't find any settings in Outlook that would prevent the header from downloading ? Any ideas ?
New Problem 2)
The links in my newsletter have been formatted with simple names on 'hover'
But when newsletter is received, hovering the links shows long url's with m2news.com.au/handshake/etc/etc.
It seems crazy that there is an option to rename links, but it has no effect. Can this be fixed ? |

1. I'm not sure what you mean by custom header, is it the top header part of the newsletter that is missing? if so, perhaps the image was put in as a background image to a table cell, some email programs don't display background images.
2. the url needs to change to the handshake one for the system to be able to track clicks. No one cares what the url is when they hover over the link, they just click the link you provide in the newsletter and watch their browser open it up. The option to rename links is part of the editor itself, which is not designed specifically for newsletters, but can also be used for editing webpages. |

Hi,
Issue 1:
An antispam or antivirus addon in OE2007 might be the cause if you have one installed. It might also be a 3rd party antivirus program.
Does the email have a red X in place of the image? Have you tried clicking on the red X to show the image? some email program wait till you click on the image or the yellow bar on top of the message for the images to load.
Yellow bar example:
