Hi. Everything looks fine when the newsletter is previewed but when it sends the subcribe box is lying on top of the header and not at the bottom of the email.

How can I fix this?

Hi,
The newsletter has a lot of skype code in it, for some reason, skype needs to infect everyopne's browser if they have it installed, and so the code was added when you saved the newsletter.

I can fix it for you, but if you save it again using that web browser with skype enabled, then it will mess it up again.

Also, there has been some pasting of content from Microsoft Word which has left some formatting code in there that could also mbe messing it up. Let me know if you want me to fix it.

You could if you want to, edit the source of the newsletter yourself and remove all the skype code from the top right down to and including the < DIV align=right > line and from the end, the last 3 tags starting with < /DIV>

When I look at the code I see the < DIV align=right > is the first code that is visible. Am I missing something? Do you charge for fixing the newsletters?

Normally we do, but I'll fix this one up for you for free.

if you go here: http://www.m2news.com.au/members/view.php?id=7779
and view the source of the page, (in Internet explorer, right click anywhere in the blue background and choose 'view source') you'll see the skype code. It gets saved to it, but stripped when you go to edit it seems.

Cheers.

Thank you. You are a gem. icon

For next time, is there something I can do (short of removing skype completely) that will prevent it happening again?

Hi,
I have done it, and saved it.

You could try disabling skype as a browser plugin, or download and use Firefox browser to edit your newsletters with. I actually think the main culprit was the < DIV aligh="right"> code which was telling it to be to the right of whatever comes next, which was the subscrbe box.

I also removed other div tags from the newsletter, as some email programs dont really know what to do with them, and removed some Word code.

Cheers.

All fixed now, I have emailed you directly.
(the main table was set to align right as well, which was causing the problem.)

Cheers
Roger
