Hi,
I just tested sending a newsletter to myself, and it says it is from send@m2news.com.au
Is there a way it can be from our business address instead?
thanks |

Hi,
During test emails, it doesn't say it's from your company name for simplification purposes.
However, when you perform a real send to one of your groups, things will change. To the recipient, it will show us as being from your company and if they reply to it, the reply will go to your company's email address, because the 'reply-to' address will be set as your company's email address.
In reality, (although to the recipient it will be from your company name and email address) it will be "from " send@m2news.com.au because the system needs to send all emails from this email address in order to track bounces. Bounces will be sent back to this special email address which are then collected by the system and recorded in your stats.
The business name associated with the group you send to when you do a real mailout will be used as the sender of the emails, and since test ones are set to yourself, and not a group, there is no name to use.
What we'll do is use the business name you sign up with as the 'from' when sending test emails, as a lot of people ask this question. We'll add the word "testing" to the end of the business name, to avoid confusion for those who use it with multiple businesses. |

Another reason they are sent from send@m2news.com.au is because when sent emails bounce, and they were sent from your email address, you the member of m2news would be flooded with "couldn't' deliver" emails, which could be in thousands depending on how many subscribers you have. |
