Hi,
Can you tell me what page you have tried to place a link to another page on, so I can see what you're doing wrong?

Thanks,
Roger

Good Morning,

I have been editing my links page and can insert links and make everything look good. I then click save and publish and it says everything has saved. When I go to preview my site or check the page in the editor it has not added the links and taken away some of my text. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Brent Davis

Hi,
I think it is because you have pasted content from another webpage in there. It has added :

div class="content"
div class="content"
div class="content"

to the top of that page in the code. Each one of those is the start of a 'div' tag, and the normal use is to have items after those tags such as text etc, and then the div tag needs to be 'closed' with the following:

/div

but there is only one 'closed' div in there, meaning there are 2 others that are left open, and I would say that this is why your content is not saving properly.

I have removed the div tags, and it should be fine. I suggest not pasting from a webpage, as per the warning above the editor.

cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

When I typed the first link in it worked perfectly. The second time I got a perfect link but the formatting was different to what I had saved. When I typed the next two in they showed up when I saved them but disappeared when I checked the site.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Brent Davis

Hi,

You must have still had the page open when I went in and edited it, because all my edits have gone, and it is back the way it was.

I will fix it again for you. Leave the page without saving, and then go back to it, and it will then be how I leave it.
