Hi there,

I would like to use the freesites system to create a web page for my fruit & vegetable business, however I want to make sure that I will be able to do two things first. They are:-

1. Do you have the facility for me to have a page that I would edit daily/weekly (prices, weights etc) containing a speadsheet with a fruit & veg list avail for a customer to log in, leave details for delivery, place an order and pay. Ideally a tab /then enter type arragement would be preferable, perhaps using an excel document?

2. Can I link to paypal for payments? Are there other payment methods available?

I look forward to your speedy response.

Thank-you in advance,

Anita Lang

Hi,

1. Freesites does not provide a member/client area where people can log in. You can edit any page as often as you want.

2. Yes, we have a few clients who use paypal with their site. There is no built in payment system in freesites.

Could a page be set up with prices (by me and altered daily) that customers could just use check-boxes (Spreadsheet) to order and then that page could be emailed to me once they hit OK or send at the end?

No, the freesite system provides a static website, so visitors cannot interact with it at all. You could however make a list with prices for them to view on the site, and have them email you with what they want.

Or, if you can find the html code online to make the site do what you want, then there is nothing wrong with using that.
