Hi,
A hit is from any object on a page that gets loaded, such as images or the page itself. Eg. if you have a page with 5 images, and a person visits that page once, it will record 6 hits, one for each image and one for the page. But only one visit will be recorded.
Visits are you you should pay attention to, as hits are pretty meaningless, despite the media's obsession with the word. |
