Hello. I am very interested in creating my own free website. I already have one which I previously paid to have custom designed. Unfortunately I am unable to make edits myself and have to pay each time for someone to do it for me. So what I want to do is sign up and start creating my own. It may take me at least a week or two to develop it so I want to keep my other going (which is hosted by another company) until the new site is ready to go live. Then I will cancel the other web host and join Free Sites hosting. I went to sign up but it asks for my domain name (which is already registered and linked to other web host). Can I still sign up now though without causing any complications with my other website and host? |

Hi,
yes you can sign up now with your existing domain. Your old website will remain at the old host until you ask them to change the nameservers, which you can do once you are happy with your new site. Even though the site isn't moved over to us, you will still be able to log in to your account with us and add and edit pages, you just won't be able to see them live on your site. |
