OK you sweet talking bastard, I've signed up for a site and as I warned, I'm now asking dumb questions to get the thing working the way I want it to look.

So brace yourself fella cause here comes the first set of questions ....

First things first,
I've chosen a template I like but it showed different colour options for it when I chose it and at present the artwork is a dark red, but guess what mate, I wanted it to be the blue on offer because dark blue is my company colour, so how do I change the colouring over from the red to the blue?

Next,
In the template there's a box at the top which in large lettering says 'MY COMPANY' so how do I get read of those words and put in Moorna Publications instead, so how do I do that?

Next,
Also on the template there's a bit under the MY COMPANY that says, 'Our craft is making you look good' and I need to get rid of that too and enter my own company punchline, so how do I do that?

Lastly (For the time being at least),
At the very bottom of the existing template page there's this contact bit, '© 2010 Craft Council | Tel: 07 1234 5678 | 57 Business Street Companytown' and I'm worried that visitors to my site will confuse that with my own company contact details, so I want to know if I can either get rid of it all together, or change it to my own company details instead, and if the latter is possible I'll need to know how to do that too please.

I think I'll be fairly well alright with the main body text pages, but time will tell lol.

Well my new found best friend I hope you've got a comfortable seat and plenty of time on your hands because something tells me that you and I are going to become pretty bloody close mates for the next week or so at least icon
Oh, before you get too comfortable and get to work on my behalf you'd best go put the billy on for the two of us, and mine's strong black coffee with 2 sugars thanks.

Signing off for now

King Dumbarse

Hi:)

to change the colour of the template, click the little box with the colour you want, and then click "Use this template".

All the others are changed from your site settings. The link for your settings is at the top right in your admin area.

Sorry, the admin area is where you log in to. Everywhere you make changes to the website is part of the "admin area".

Now I'm in real strife because my company logo is in png form and my website wants it in jpeg or something just as weird and I haven't got a clue how to make the change from one to the other.
Got any ideas?

And keep the language simple will you cause I'm the dumbarse around here remember lol

Now you'd just better watch your backside Roger cause I'm getting good with this stuff and will be after your job soon, assuming that Freesites could afford my extravagant salay demands of course icon

I might just take you up on that offer mate icon

The way I see things is that we all get more than enough stress in our working lives, my staff particulary from up-themselves authors who think they should be treated as gods just because they've had a book or two published, but they forget that without us in the first place they'd never have got their books published in the first place.

We're only a small publishing house, five staff working for me, but I don't think it's a good working environment to have me playing the hardarse boss at them all the while so I do my best to keep things as relaxed and comfortable as possible by using a bit of silly humour and piss taking.
It has worked very well up to now and I tend to spill it over when dealing with outside contacts such as yourselves. Hope you don't mind.

Yep, its Sunday and I'm still bloody working lol.
