Have you submitted your site to google yet using this page: http://www.google.com/addurl/ ? - that would speed up the process of Google indexing your site.
Remember, it does take a while for Google take notice of your site, I mean there are x billion websites for them to crawl.
I can see you have added the meta tag for google verification into your site, You can use this tag on the top-level page of your site to verify ownership for Webmaster Tools, but that isnt going to get Google to index your siten any quicker. Google still has to either stumble accorss it, or find it from a link in another site that links to yours, or find it from you submitting your website address at the add URL linkn I mentioned above.
All of this is really outside of the hosting and website creation service we provide via the Freesites system. If you want to have SEO (Search engine optimisation) performed on your site, then there are companies that specialise in just that, and we too do it at www.m2seo.com.au, but there is a fee for the service. but you don't need it at this point in time, if you have a good idea of what search terms you want your site found under, and you have put those terms in your page text, page tiotles, and headings, then you've dopne a good job of setting it up ready to be visted by Google and indexed accordingly. |
