Hi, I just registered with new website (www.personalisedengraving.com.au). I have another website but want to put information in before I change it over. With my other website (it has a different name at the moment), it has an order form. Can I add an order form that customers fill in and submit? Let me know if you need other website to see what I mean. | |||

Hi Katrina, Sure, for $50 we can create the order form within your site and have it emailed to you everytime someone fills it out. We will also change some of the questions/fields to be a bit more suitable so everything looks nice and neat. If you are interested, please let me know by making a post here. Thank you |

Hi Katrina, 1. Please create the order page in your web site using the editor in freesites.com.au, and place any text/content you wish to have on the order form. When you are done, please post back here and then I shall add the order form it self on the page. 2. It's a pretty hard to see all the colour names on http://www.personalisedribbons.com.au/main/page_ribbon_idea_just_ribbons__no_print.html - could you please provide a list of all the Ribbon colours for the order form field? Order form has been created. The list of colours are also on the website under ribbon colours. Quick question, as I am buiding this website for www.personalisedribbons.com.au (but under the domain name www.personalisedengraving.com.au) and then I will transfer the new website over, I am also currently using info@personalisedribbons.com.au as one of my email addresses...however I would like to use this email address on my new site.....is this going to be an issue??? And how easy will it be to transfer this domain across??? |

Hi Katrina, There are few issues with some of your pages, I've corrected them: 1. Your contact us page had a form in it, you don't need to do that. I've replaced the form it had with just a page heading and used the site settings page to assign the contact form to it, now it will look and function just fine. All emails from it will be sent to your email address that you used to sign up with us. 2. Order form - I just needed you to create the ribbon colours page, I have already made the form it self. Please have a look at my version of the form and let me know if you would like to use it. If you are happy with it, I will set it up so it emails you when it's filled out by customers. Thank you that looks great.....the ribbon colours page has been created. do you want to just link that page? Also, metres is incorrectly spelt but that's okay....am I able to edit this page myself (eg fonts etc) | |||

I've linked to the ribbon colours page, and fixed the spelling error. You can edit the page if you like, but please note that you can't use textarea fields in the form, it breaks the editor for some odd reason (had to replace address field into smaller fields). As long you just edit the font size/colours, it'll be fine. Please let me know when you're done and I'll make the form work. Thank you |

Hi, All you will have to do is set the nameservers for your real domain to dns1.mediatwo.com.au and dns2.mediatwo.com.au and then let us know when you have done it, and we'll change the name of the domain we're ghosting for you. Then just request the email address using the method provided. Cheers, Roger |

Okay so I am just about to advise my old host that I am changing over. I want to keep info@personalisedribbons.com.au but obviously this will be in use by the old website....how long until people can email me on this email address?? Also, is there a way to show the gallery automatically on my invitations page instead of someone having to click on that area (as it really doesn't seem obvious that there are photos/images to view) Cheers K |

Thanks for your phone call, I'll just reply here too for the benefit of others reading through the posts: I have set your email address up, and it will be active as soion as the registrar change takes place, which can be up to 48 hours after you change the nameservers for that domain. So, once you see your new site under the personalisedribbons.com.au adress, then your email box on our server will also become active. For info on setting the email address up in your email proghram (outlook etc) please see this page: http://www.mediatwo.com.au/clientsuite-email.php And finally, dont forget to set your new site live from the settings page! Thanks Roger...website is up already even without entering it into the browser it comes up on google...so I guess that's a good sign?? I should still probably re-register this with google though (Yes????) Couple of things... * the order form isn't working? * do I have use of info@personalisedribbons.com.au yet? (as emails seem to be going nowhere) * with my logo is there any possibility that instead of the black rectangle I can just have the image over the top of the gradient background (sorry but your programs only allow JPEG and won't upload as transparent background) Thanks again getting closer  |
