Im having trouble using links instead of whole URL's.
Sometimes I can get a link to work okay, but other times not. Often when I highlight the text for the link okay, but when I paste the URL into the link box, it removes the highlight, and the link doesnt work. Can you help me with this? I also can't find a link tester, but that's not so important anyway, Thanks, Pat |

Hi,
the only way for the text you highlight to become unhighlighted is if you click elsewhere in the page before clicking the link button. That must be what you are doing... |

Hi,
There is no 'options' line in the linking box.
here is the linking box, showing the text I selected in your newsletter, and the place to put the link circled in red:

Thanks, I meant Source. Its not working for me, and its a huge timewaster trying to get it to work. Ive spent quite few hours on it. As I said when I click to enter the URL, the highlighting drops out. I'm doubt Im going to use the linking box again, I'll stick with URL's. It may be my computer too...Im using Vista. Thanks for your efforts to help anyway, Pat |

Right, make sure you're not using an old version of internet explorer too, version 6 is not supported by anything any more. - http://www.mediatwo.com.au/ie6/
You shouldn't have spent hours trying to get one word to link, if it wasn't working for you according to the instructions, we would have happily done it for you. |
