Hi

I'm looking at becoming a client of yours but would like to ask a few questions first. I read that there is no scope for potential clients of mine to make payments to me via my website. But then I also found this statement:
•PayPal - You can add paypal buttons for shopping carts, donations, subscriptions or buy now items etc, but you must paste the code that PayPal provides you into the source code of your page, not directly into the design view. to get to the source code, just click the button on the tool bar the looks like this:

Does this mean that people wanting to purchase my product or subscribe.., can do so but only if I establish a paypal accnt? I don't understand paypal & generally just provide my CC details without the aid of a financial brokerage set-up.

I want to start a website purely for the gathering & storage of research data; a site that I can refer people to in order to participate in; at present I use SurveyMonkey & want to be able to provide my potential clients with ease of access. Would a site with you guys be able to support this? (is this what they call "embedding" another site or links or something?) I would rather have my clients click on the menu item, choose the sub-category & go straight to the questions. Also, SurveyMonkey sorts, collates & provides analysis of entered data for me...., are you following me? Can I do this with your service? Continue to use SurveyMonkey or would each sub-category merely present as a "link" to another site (ie: SurveyMonkey)?

This is probably not the write place to come to with these types of enquiries.., but this is where the "contact us" tab kept leading me.

Cheers
Wendy

Hi,
I think you are talking about the Freesites system despite yopu entering your question into the billcue support forum.
My answer would be no, don't use the Freesite system, you need something more flexible. If you want people to purchase from you via paypal, then you will need a paypal account. If you don't want to use paypal, then you'll need to set up a merchant account with your bank and use a payment gateway provider, such as www.eway.com.au.
